Refund Policy

• Cancellation 7 Days Before Check-in: Full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
• Cancellation 3-7 Days Before Check-in: 50% refund.
• Cancellation Less Than 3 Days Before Check-in: No refund.
• No-Show: No refund for no-shows or unnotified cancellations.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Payment Policy

• Accepted Payments: Payments can be made through credit/debit cards, UPI, or bank transfer.
• Booking Confirmation: A 50% advance is required at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due at check-in.
• Non-Refundable Booking: Some bookings may be non-refundable. This will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking.

General Policies & Guidelines

• Quiet Hours: Please maintain quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect other guests.
• Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas only. Drugs are strictly prohibited.
• Smoking: Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed in the hostel.
• Behavior: Guests must respect the hostel staff and other guests. Any disruptive behavior may lead to eviction without refund.

Terms & Condition

• Liability: Skyard Hostel is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
• Force Majeure: In case of unforeseen events like natural disasters, the hostel is not responsible for booking cancellations or changes.
• Changes to Policies: Skyard Hostel reserves the right to modify or update these policies at any time without prior notice.
• Booking Agreement: By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by all the hostel's policies and guidelines.

Booking Policy

• Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed with a valid email address or phone number.
• Advance Payment: A 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking.
• Check-in Time: Check-in is from 12:00 PM onwards. Early check-ins are subject to availability.
• Check-out Time: Check-out is before 11:00 AM. Late check-out may incur additional charges.
• ID Proof: All guests must present a government-issued ID at the time of check-in.
• Group Bookings: For group bookings (5 or more people), prior notice and special arrangements are required.

From the Railway Station (Rishikesh Railway Station): The nearest major railway station is Rishikesh, around 230 km from Harsil Valley. From the station, you can take a taxi or shared cab towards Uttarkashi and further to Harsil. The journey takes about 7–8 hours by road. Skyard Hostel & Homestay is located near the Post Office in Mukhawa, opposite Sundar Homestay.

From the Bus Stand (Uttarkashi Bus Stand): Harsil Valley is about 75 km from Uttarkashi. Regular buses and shared jeeps are available from Uttarkashi towards Gangotri, passing through Harsil. Ask the driver to drop you at Mukhawa village. The property is just opposite Sundar Homestay, near the local Post Office.

By Personal Vehicle: Drive towards Gangotri from Uttarkashi via NH34. After crossing Harsil market, continue for about 2 km towards Mukhawa. Skyard Hostel & Homestay is on the main road, opposite Sundar Homestay and near Mukhawa Post Office. Parking space is available nearby.
